3 bodies recovered from Narmada canal in Anand

Anand, May 13 (UNI) Three bodies, including those of two women, were recovered from the Narmada canal yesterday, police said today.

The bodies were in a highly-decomposed state, the police said, adding that the man might be around 50-years of age while the two women were around 30.

The bodies were first sighted by a local who informed the police about it. Police have not yet identified the deceased.

Police said it could be a case of suicide and the three must have jumped to their death at least four days ago.
