UPSIDC office sealed

Kanpur, May 12 (UNI) Police today sealed the office of Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC) here, where the staff was allegedly destroying important files.

In a similar incident yesterday, the official chamber of outgoing urban development minister Mohd Azam Khan was sealed in Lucknow.

''The UPSIDC staff was destroying official files although it was a holiday today,'' Police Superintendent (Rural) Dinesh Chandra said.

Meanwhile, police were quizzing a person, who was taken in custody from the spot.
