Two persons charred to death

Mumbai May 12 (UNI) Two persons were charred to death in a residential apartment in Khar suburban Mumbai in the wee hours here today.

The fire broke out at 0320 hrs on the third floor of Raj Sarovar Niketan apartments, which was brought under control at 0400 hrs, said fire-brigade sources here.

Lal Bhadur Bhakru (75) and Mohini Atmaram Bhakru (60) died of burn related injuries.

Investigations are on to ascertain the cause of fire, said police sources here.
