Two HM militants killed in north Kashmir

Baramulla, May 12 (UNI) Two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) were killed by the security forces in a fierce encounter in apple township of Sopore today, official sources said.

They said the encounter took place between militants and security forces during a search operation at Tarzoo, Sopore.

Two HM militants, including one identified as Ishtiyak Ahmad, were killed. Two A K rifles and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants.
