Two held with 6 kg poppy husk

Jalandhar, May 12 (UNI) Two persons were arrested in this district after six kg of poppy husk was recovered from their possession, police said here today.

Senior Superintendent of Police Arpit Shukla, in a press release issued here today said that Manoj Kumar, a resident of Gazi Gulla was arrested after four kg of poppy husk was recovered from his possession last night.

In another case, he said, Ashu, a resident of Basti Bawa Khel in the city was nabbed after police recovered two kg of poppy husk from his possession.

Both the accused were booked under section 15 of NDPS Act at different police stations, he added.
