Two cocaine peddlers arrested

New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) The Delhi police arrested two cocaine peddlers along with a high profile customer from Punjab early today.

According to the police, they received a tip off that a cocaine deal was to be struck near Jal Board office at Lajpat Nagar by a drug peddler Rajeev Sharma.

The Narcotics branch formed a team and laid a trap. As soon as Sharma exchanged a packet with a man, later identifed as Jogpreet Singh, the narcotics branch sleuths swung into action and apprehended the duo.

After search 13.5 gram of cocaine and 50 gram of charas were recovered from them. Sharma's interrogation led the police to Sameer Khan.

Another team of narcotics branch arrested Sameer with 35 gram of cocaine at 0330 hours at Ashram flyover.
