Reliancefresh outlets attacked, 13 detained in J'khand
Ranchi, May 12 (UNI) Agitated over vegetables being sold at a lower price, a mob of vegetable vendors today attacked the outlets of Reliancefresh located in various parts of the city.
Superintendent of Police Manvinder Singh Bhatia told UNI a mob of about 3,000 vegetable sellers attacked the outlets of Reliance fresh located in the state capital. The outlet at the Morhabadi area was ransacked by them, he added.
Mr Bhatia said police resorted to lathi-charge to control them and 13 persons had been detained in this connection.
At present about three outlets of Reliancefresh are functional in the state capital located in Bahu Bazar, Morhabadi and Lalpur area.
