Radio Mirchi celebrates 'Mother's Day'

Hyderabad, May 12 (UNI) Radio Mirchi today honoured mothers on the eve of 'Mother's Day' by visiting Dangoria Maternity Hospital and giving them goodies and a certificate of "Mirchi Taaza Mum".

Commenting on Radio Mirchi's initiative, one of the mothers said, "I am absolutely thrilled with the new-found status given by Radio Mirchi. Though I became mother for the second time, getting the Taaza Mum certificate is certainly a first time experience and I feel as if I have won a beauty contest," a release said here.

Commenting on the initiative, Hyderabad Station Director Manoj said, "mothers are a replica of God on Earth. They are the most selfless beings. We at Radio Mirchi decided to make this day special for the mothers by spreading their joy throughout the city with on-air celebrations and also visiting hospitals to congratulate the mums." Radio Mirchi also had on-air celebrations where they shared the joy of new moms in the city by announcing 'Good News' on air. Other on-air activities included showcasing three generations of mothers on-air.
