Pranab expects Iran pipeline problems to be sorted out
Kolkata, May 12 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee today said he was hopeful that the problems over the proposed India-Iran gas pipeline would be sorted out.
''I am very much hopeful about the setting up the Rs 700-crore dollar pipeline via Pakistan. We have already discussed the issue of gas prices with Pakistan,'' he told reporters at his residence.
Mr Mukherjee said the third round of dialogue with Pakistan would start very soon and after that the issue would be taken up with Iran for discussions.
'' We will try to give the final touch to the project and I am hopeful that the problems will be solved amicably,'' he said.
