PMK hails UP results as 'victory of social justice'

Chennai, May 12 (UNI) Terming the stunning victory of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections yesterday as the ''victory of social justice'', Pattali Makkal Katchi Founder-Leader S Ramadoss said the new rule would usher in an era of peace, social progress in that state.

In a statement here tonight, Dr Ramadoss congratulated BSP supremo Mayawati and said her electoral triumph would mark the betterment of the oppressed classes in Uttar Pradesh and in the country as a whole.

Lauding Ms Mayawati on 'translating' the dream of Dr Ambedkar, he said she had also accomplished the ideals of her mentor late Kanshi Ram.
