One dies five injure in head-on-collision

Krishnagar, May 12 (UNI) One person was killed and five were injured in a head-on-collision between two vehicles at Jaguli on NH 34 near Haringhata in West Bengal's Nadia district today.

The decease was a patient.

The injured were taken to a local hospital.

Police said the accident occurred when an ambulance carrying a a patient from Ranaghat hit by a Tata Indica, which was coming from opposite direction killing the patient on the spot.

The injured were from both the vehicles.
