Heat wave conditions grip northern MP
Bhopal, May 12 (UNI) Heat wave conditions gripped northern Madhya Pradesh even as the rest of the state continued to reel under severe heat.
Hoshangabad turned out to be the hottest region recording a temperature of 44.2 degree Celsius.
A marginal drop in temperature was recorded in several places, including Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur, but there was no respite from heat.
Regional meteorological department said 'loo' winds lashed Chambal and Sagar divisions.
The state capital recorded a high of 42 C, one mark above normal but less than 42.6 C registered yesterday. A minimum of 28.4 C, two notches above normal, was recorded.
