Chambal Fertilisers Q4 net down 80.66pc

New Delhi, May 12: Chambal Fertilisers&Chemicals Ltd today registered a 80.66 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 5.26 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 27.2 crore for the same period last year.

The company's total income also dipped by 3.04 per cent to Rs 497.05 crore in the said quarter from Rs 512.67 crore for the same quarter ended last fiscal.

It's net profit dropped by 25.59 per cent at Rs 151.13 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 compared to Rs 203.12 crore last fiscal.

Total income stood at Rs 2613.66 crore during the period, down 5.2 per cent from Rs 2757.20 crore last year.
