British High Commissioner meets Indore Mayor
Indore, May 12 (UNI) British High Commissioner to India Sir Michael Arthur paid a courtesy visit to Indore Mayor Umashashi Sharma at her residence to discuss the city's development.
During the discussion on the development works in progress, he was informed yesterday about efforts for the uplift of population, trade, commerce, employment and water.
The Mayor informed about the increasing influx of population in the state's financial capital and the arrangements made for water, sanitation and sewerage.
Other senior officers of the High Commission, included Deputy High Commissioner Vicki Treadell among others.
The High Commissioner also held discussions with industrialists at a meeting organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry.
