Bajaj Allianz nets Rs 63 cr profit

Ahmedabad, May 12 (UNI) Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has become the most profitable private life insurance company for the financial year 2006-07 with a profit of Rs 63 crore.

A company release here today said that the company has also issued over 20 lakh policies this year, which is the largest by any private sector life insurance company in the country.

Bajaj Allianz Life insurance Chairman Rahul Bajaj said, ''Crossing the US dollar one billion in new business premium and a healthy profit of Rs 63 crore in such a short span of time speaks highly of the management team spearheading this accelerated growth.
