Arvind Mills Q4 PAT down 74.84 per cent

New Delhi, May 12: Ahmedabad-based Arvind Mills, an integrated textile player, today registered 74.84 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 5.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 compared to Rs 21.47 crore for the same period last year.

However, the company's total income increased by 34.95 per cent at Rs 491.19 crore in the quarter against Rs 363.96 crore for the same period last year.

For the year ended March 31, 2007, the company's net profit dipped 5.97 per cent to Rs 119.56 crore against Rs 127.16 crore during the same period last fiscal while total income rose 15.50 per cent at Rs 1,861.16 crore from Rs 1,611.31 crore during the period.
