Trade worth Rs 2,676 crore transacted on NCDEX

Mumbai, May 11 (UNI) As many as 596 members and 3,027 users of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) today participated in trading worth Rs 2,676 crore (one way) upto 17:00 hrs.

There were more than 99,585 trades put through by them. Active trades were high in pepper, jeera, guarseeds, chana, sugar and soya oil, an NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, 582 members and 3,078 users participated in trading and put through more than 83,611 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 23:30 hrs was Rs 2,640 crore (one way). Active trades were in pepper, guarseeds, jeera, chana, gold and sugar, the release added.
