Sub-committee appointed on Parambikulam Aliyar Project

Palakkad, May 11 (UNI) A meeting of the Joint Water Resources Departments (JWRD) of Kerala and Tamil Nadu here today appointed a sub-committee to submit a report on the Parambikulam Aliyar Project (PAP) Agreement.

JWRD Chairman K Divakaran told newspersons here the committee would submit its report within three months to find a solution to the PAP dispute.

The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Chairman and Kerala Electricity Board Chief Engineer took part in the meeting. The next meeting would be held at Chennai in September.
