SIL signs pacts with four companies
Mumbai, May 11 (UNI) Chennai-based steel manufacturing firm Surana Industries Limited (SIL) today finalised contracts with four companies to feed the demands of its new integrated steel plant in Raichur, Karnataka.
As per the contracts, the company will get technical components from Cethar Vessels private Limited, Trichy, Qingdao Jieneng Power station Engineering co. Ltd, China, Associated Power Team Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, and Thermax limited, Pune.
SIL will set up the new Integrated Steel complex at Raichur, at a total investment of Rs 473 crore.
The Raichur steel plant will have a capacity to produce 128,000 tonnes of Sponge Iron, 225,000 tonnes of Steel melting shop and 2 Lakhs tonnes of Rolling Mill annually, a release said here.
