MRPL Q4 net at Rs 181.88 cr

New Delhi, May 11 (UNI) Mangalore Refinery&Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) today posted a net profit of Rs 181.88 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2007 as compared to net loss of Rs 29.50 crore during the corresponding period last year.

The company's total incomo, however, rose 6.25 per cent to Rs 6,835.94 crore for Q4FY07 from Rs 6,433.41 crore for Q4FY06.

For the fiscal 2006-07, MRPL registered a jump in its net profit at Rs 525.53 crore from Rs 371.61 crore for previous fiscal, registering a jump of 41.41 per cent.

Company's total income rose 14.62 per cent from Rs 25,044.32 crore in the fiscal 2005-06 to Rs 28,706.83 crore for the fiscal 2006-07.

MRPL has recommended a dividend of eight per cent on the equity capital and 0.01 per cent on the 0.01 per cent preference share capital for the year ended March 31, 2007.
