Mayawati to decide on staking claim tomorrow

Lucknow, May 11 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati has called a meeting of her BSP's legislature tomorrow to decide the future course of action following indications that party would gain an absolute majority in the 403 member-strong legislative assembly.

The meeting has been called for tomorrow evening. ''Till the time, official results are announced, the party cannot practically chalk out a strategy,' said a BSP leader.

Mayawati has so far refrained from making a public statement on the landslide victory. It is likely that she would stake her claim to form the government after meeting her legislators.
