Man beats wife, daughter to death

Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, May 11 (UNI) Police today arrested a 52-year-old man after he brutally murdered his wife and daughter over a domestic quarrel.

Police said Jayaraman beat his wife Chellapapu (45) and daughter Sangeetha (13) to death with a crowbar and walked out of the house in blood-stained clothes.

On suspicion, passersby went into the house to find the bodies lying in a pool of blood and informed the police.

The bodies were removed to the Chidambaram Government Hospital for post-mortem.
