IGate invited as a member in WEF

Kolkata, May 11 (UNI) IGATE Global Solutions(IGATE), the integrated technology and operations(ITOPS) company, has been invited as a member of the World Economic Forum's(WEF), a community of Global Growth Companies(GGC).

A company release said today that IGATE has been identified as one of the ''Global Growth Companies'' for demonstrating a clear potential in becoming a leader in the global economy, based on parameters such as its business model, growth record, leadership and the market it serves.

IGATE-Global Solutions CEO Phaneesh Murthy said, ''It is an honour to be welcomed as a new member of the league of global Growth companies formed by World Economic Forum. We look forward to the opportunity to work with like-minded companies such as ours, companies that firmly believe that providing innovative business models will change the world.'' The Forum's Community of Global Growth Companies are a new generation of companies coming primarily from rapidly emerging markets, such as China and India, and also include fast movers from developed economies.
