Hero Honda Q4 net dips by 37pc

New Delhi, May 11 (UNI) Country's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Honda Motors Ltd today registered 37 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 195 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 267.19 crore in the corresponding period last year.

However, total turnover has increased by 16.75 per cent to Rs 2,684.09 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 from Rs 2,298.91 crore for the quarter ended last year.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 857.89 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 971.34 crore for the corresponding period last year.

Total turnover has increased to 12.08 per cent at Rs 10,089.81 crore during March 2007 from Rs 8,870.26 crore in the corresponding period last year.
