Four people killed in road accidents

Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, May 11 (UNI) Four people, including a bridegroom, died in two different accidents in this district.

When a newly-married couple was going to Khammam from Kakinada, a tanker hit their vehicle near Gangaram village under Sattupalli mandal late last night. Three people, including the bridegroom, were killed on the spot.

The bride was admitted to the government hospital in Khammam with serious injuries.

In another accident, one person was killed and a bridegroom, who was going for his marriage, was severely injured. The marriage party was proceeding to Koosumanchi from Khammam when a private vehicle hit their vehicle.

He was admitted to the Khammam Government Hospital and the marriage had to be postponed.
