Dacoity in BHEL colony

Haridwar,May 11 (UNI) Jewellery worth Rs. 1.5 lakh and Rs. 70,000 in cash were looted from the house of a senior BHEL official in Shivalik Nagar colony of the BHEL township early.

According to sources seven to eight armed robbers entered the house of BHEL official, A K Garg, through the window and locked him, his wife and his mother in the barthroom.

On receiving information of the incident police rushed to the spot.

City SP, J R Joshi said massive operation had been launched to nab the culprits.
