Call money opens higher at 3.50-4.00 in morning session
Mumbai, May 11 (UNI) Call money opened comparatively higher today at 3.50-4.00 per cent from the previous close of 2.00-2.50 per cent on Thursday.
Indian federal bonds were steady on Friday as investors sat tight ahead of a Rs 10,000 crore bond auction and the release of inflation and industrial output data.
Ample funds in the banking system also made investors wary, as they expect the Central Bank to sell more market stabilisation bonds next week to keep a lid on cash in circulation, dealers said.
In the morning session, the yield on the 10-year bond was found at 8.12 per cent, unchanged from the previous close.
