Businessman robbed of Rs 6 lakh

Rohtak, May 11 (UNI) A cloth merchant was robbed of Rs six lakh in cash allegedly by three motorcycle-borne armed miscreants on Bhiwani road on the outskirts of the city, police said today.

Jagmohan, who deals in cloth business, was returning from Bhiwani in his car last night after collecting about Rs six lakh in cash. Three unidentified persons with muffled faces riding a motorcycle forced the businessman to stop his car by blocking the road on the Bhiwani road.

The trio snatched the bag which contained cash from Jagmohan and rode away on the motorcycle.

Police registered a case of robbery against the unidentified looters and launched manhunt to nab the culprits.
