Jammu: Azad inaugurates bridge on Nallah

Jammu , May 11: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad inaugurated the 160-metre Pre-stressed Concrete Girder bridge across Sardan Nallah on Sidhra-Surinsar road here this morning.

The bridge constructed by JKPCC has been completed at an estimated cost of Rs 504 lakh. It has been designed for worst effect arising out of two loading due to 1-lane IRC class "A" vehicular loading. The foundation of the bridge has founding level 86.50M for abutments an 83.50M for pier.

The Chief Minister also met the local residents who apprised him of their various demands to which he assured to give sympathetic consideration.
