APJU welcomes handing over Dinakaran attack case to CBI

Machilipatnam, May 11 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Journalists Union (APJU) today welcomed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's decision to hand over to the CBI, the inquiry into the attack on Tamil daily Dinakaran, in which three employees of the daily in Madurai were killed on May nine.

APJU President P R Ramamoorthy and its Krishna district unit President R D Prasad, in a release here, said the Union also urged Mr Karunanidhi to initiate quick action against the attackers and announce Rs 15 lakhs compensation each to the victims' families.
