AICC Secretary to visit Nagaland

Kohima, May 11: AICC General Secretary Ranjit Thomas will visit Nagaland to give a ''moral boost'' to the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) for the coming Assembly elections in the state.

According to NPCC Secretary Medokul Sophie, Mr Thomas will tour eeleven districts, starting with Dimapur on May 14.

During his eight day visit, the AICC General Secretary will hold meetings with party members, Legislators, District Congress Committee office bearers, executive members and district frontal chiefs. He will also have separate meeting with Mahila Congress, NSUI and Congress Seva Dal of every district.

According to Sophie, more AICC leaders are expected to visit the state to prepare the party cadre for the next Assembly Elections.
