2 die in road mishap in Dimapur

Kohima, May 11: Two persons had died and another 12 people had been injured, two of them critically, when the truck, in which they were travelling turned turtle at Singrijan near Dimapur town.

Official sources said that all the 14 persons were travelling in the truck from Singrijan to Dimapur town when the mishap occurred yesterday.

The deceased, identified as Eizul Ali (27) and Wahedul Zapper (10), were both residents of Singrijan village.

The injured were admitted to Dimapur Civil hospital.

The driver fled immediately after the incident. Police had registered a case against the errant driver.
