11 killed in road accident

Baripada, May 11 (UNI) At least 11 people were killed today when the vehicle in which they were travelling collided head-on with a tanker at Chadheibhol, about 155 kms from here.

Police said a family from Keonjhar was on its way to Badagaon under Karanjia police station area when the mishap took place.

The vehicle was completely damaged in the accident and most of the people died on the spot.

Senior police and district officials have rushed to the spot.
