Sutlej's Q4 profit slips 47%

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd today registered a drop of 47.68 per cent in net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007 at Rs 4.84 crore as compared to Rs 9.25 crore during the same period last fiscal.

The net sales of the company during Q4FY07 grew by 22.90 per cent at Rs 185.60 crore against Rs 151.02 crore for the corresponding period a year ago.

During 2006-07, it posted a 72.46 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 36.32 crore against 21.06 per cent in FY06.

Sutlej Textiles annual net sales grew by 19.12 per cent at Rs 714.47 crore as against Rs 599.78 crore during the same period last year.
