S Kumars net up 147.39 pc, Q4 by 66.43 pc

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) Leading textile manufacturer, S Kumars Nationwide Ltd today posted a net profit of Rs 37.88 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2007, up by 66.43 per cent from Rs 22.76 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The sales stood at Rs 371.66 crore in the Q4FY07, increasing by 49.9 per cent from Rs 247.89 crores for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The net profit for the financial year 2006-07 jumped up 147.39 per cent to Rs 123.52 crores from Rs 49.93 crore in the last fiscal.

The company 's turnover stood at Rs 1229.54 crore for the fiscal ending March 31, 2007, indicating an increase of 38.19 per cent from Rs 889.73 crore during the previous year.
