Rashid remanded in police custody
Hyderabad, May 10 (UNI) A local court here remanded Rashid, the alleged kingpin in the sensational fake passport case, in eight-day police custody.
The XII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate also remanded the other accused Mujafar Ali, an aide of Rashid and former TDP city corporator to two days police custody.
Rashid, a travel agent by profession had surrendered before the Central Crime Station (CCS) police on May 3. He was remanded in judicial custody the next day.
Mujafar Ali was arrested on the same day.
On May 5, the CCS police filed a petition before the court, seeking their police custody.
