Precious metals decline on weak global advice
Mumbai, May 10 (UNI) Both the Precious metals declined today on weak global advices with Silver down by Rs 65 per kg and Gold by Rs 50 per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Exchange.
Silver fineness .999 opened low at Rs 18,870 per kg on lack of fresh demand. Later, it rose and closed at Rs 18,910 with a loss of Rs 65 from yesterday's close of Rs 18,975.
In London, Silver eased to USD 13.29/13.32 per troy ounce against USD 13.43/13.45 per troy ounce in New York.
Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) also opened weak at Rs 9,060 and Rs 9,110 per ten gm on thin buying support.
Later, the yellow metal edged up slightly and closed at Rs 9,070 and Rs 9,120 per ten gm with a loss of Rs 50 each from its last close.
In London, Gold fell to USD 675.00/678.00 per troy ounce as compared to USD 682.00/685.00 per troy ounce in New York on Wednesday.
