One more TRS MLA surrenders in Katara case
Hyderabad, May 10: Absconding Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLA S Bapu Rao, allegedly involved in the BJP MP Babubhai Katara human trafficking case, surrendered before police today.
Bapu Rao is the second TRS MLA after Kasipeta Lingaiah who surrendered before the Central Crime Station Police investigating the case.
Representing Boadh constituency in Adilabad district, Bapu Rao had been absconding since the scam was unearthed after the arrest of Babubhai Katara in New Delhi.
The CCS police booked a case against the TRS MLA on May 3, immediately after alleged kingpin Rashid surrendered before them on the same day.
