Lightning kills 3 in TN

Chennai, May 10 (UNI)Three persons lost life when lightning struck them, in Cuddalore and Thanjavur Districts of Tamil Nadu yesterday.

Police said Mohamed Yusuf died in front of his house at Kaliamanagar under Parankipettai Police limits in Cuddalore District, while Kothandapani (25) of Pandaravadai and Saravan (21) of Eechangkuzhi Village in Thanjavur District were also killed.

The region witnessed lightning accompanied by rainfall last night, they added.
