Patna, May 10 (UNI) The Janata Dal (United) today slammed Bihar Opposition leader Rabri Devi for initiating a series of statements without taking part in serious political affairs.

JD (U) National General Secretary Sivanand Tiwari in a statement here today descried the issuance of a series of statements by former chief minister Rabri Devi during the past few days as a ''record'' of sorts and questioned the rationale behind issuing them.

He alleged that the former chief minister herself spent very few hours in the state secretariat everyday during her rule.

Referring to Rabri Devi's criticism of the present law and order situation in the state, Mr Tiwari said it was during the previous RJD rule that several ministers had gone to jail, which itself was a record.

Terming the previous RJD government in the state as one of the most 'useless' governments in the country, the JD (U) spokesperson said in all departments including the PWD, Health, Education, Power and even Law and Order, the Lalu Prasad-Rabri Devi government had failed miserably.

Reiterating his criticism about the issuance of a series of statements by the former Chief minister, Mr Tiwari also ridiculed her for allegedly trying to put her name in the record books.
