Heat conditions intensify in MP
Bhopal, May 10 (UNI) Heat conditions intensified in Madhya Pradesh with Sheopur turning out to be the hottest region recording a temperature of 45.5 degree Celsius.
Mercury hovered around 42-43 C in most places.
A high of 44 C was recorded in Guna, followed by Gwalior 43 C, Hoshangabad 42.5 C, Ujjain 42 C, Tikamgarh 42 C, Jabalpur 42 C, Satna 42 C, Sagar 42 C, and Indore 40.6 C.
The state capital witnessed a hot day with partial clouds. A maximum of 42 C was recorded here.
Regional meteorological department spokesperson said showers accompanied by lightning was expected at isolated places in all districts in the next 24 hours.
