'Dinakaran' case: Accused remanded in custody
Madurai, May 10 (UNI) Four people, accused in the case relating to the burning of Tamil Daily 'Dinakaran's office, were today remanded to judicial custody.
The accused 'Tiger' Pandi (27), Badshah (40), Saravanan (27) and Prabhu (21) were remanded to custody after they were produced before the court of judicial magistrate this morning at Melur near here.
'Tiger' and Badshah had been arrested late last night while Saravanan and Prabhu (21) were nabbed early this morning.
Meanwhile, the special teams formed have intensified the search in order to nab the culprits involved in the ransacking of the office and setting it afire by lobbing fire bombs.
Police sources said many local DMK functionaries involved in the incident have been taken for questioning by the police.
