Death setence for 'tantrik'
Ujjain, May 10 (UNI) A local court has awarded death sentence to a 'tantrik', convicted for murdering a lawyer and his three relatives at different places besides attempting to kill two children.
Pronouncing the judgement, District and Sessions Judge Sanjeev Kumar Saraiva today ordered that Narayan Singh be hanged till death on the charges of murder, loot, abduction and attempt to murder.
'Tantrik' Narayan Singh and his friend had killed advocate K K Shah, his wife Renuka and son Vaibhav at hotels in Dewas and Bhopal after looting money from them on September 26, 2004.
The accused also abducted Shah's son Shashank and daughter Nandini and attempted to murder them.
Shashank and Nandini escaped and informed police.
The matter of Narayan's friend Sumit, who is a minor, was pending with the court.
