Dalit prevented from playing band

Shajapur, MP, May 10 (UNI) A 'Dalit' marriage party was prevented from playing the band by an upper caste youth at Tukrana village in this district, police said.

When bridegroom Vishnu Ahirwar, a resident of Chhapihara village in Rajgarh district, reached Tukrana village yesterday, Lakhan Patidar interrupted the playing of the band in the marriage party.

On getting information about this incident, police registered a case against the upper-caste youth.

UNI
