CPI(Maoist) nabbed in Jharkhand

Hazaribagh, May 10 (UNI) Police have arrested a CPI(Maoist) and recovered arms and cash from him in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district.

Acting on a tip-off, the police nabbed the ultra, identified as Mithilesh alias Rohit, a member of CPI(Maoist) central committee from a town bus stand in the district yesterday.

The ultra was on his way to Jashpur in Chhattisgarh from Aurangabad in Bihar.

One pistol, six catridges and Rs two lakhs in cash were recovered from him, police said.

The arrested was wanted in over 12 criminal cases registered in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
