7 killed as van hits bus in AP

Tirupati, May 10 (UNI) Seven persons of a marriage party were killed on the spot and six injured, two of them seriously, when the van in which they were travelling hit an APSRTC bus near Pileru, about 80 km from here, today Police said the van, carrying 13 members of a marriage party, was proceeding from Sadumu Mandalam to Kalikri when the accident occurred. Those killed included five women.

The injured were admitted to the Pileru Government Hospital, police added.
