Wanted criminal arrested from Meerut by Special Cell

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI) A dreaded inter-state criminal, wanted in 18 cases of murder and extortion in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi and carrying a Rs 10,000 reward on his head, has been arrested by the Special Cell sleuths of the Delhi Police from Meerut.

Anwar alias Addha (32) was arrested from Eastern Court Road in Meerut yesterday, said the police today.

During interrogation he disclosed his involvement in several criminal cases of murder, extortion and Arms Act of which one was in Delhi and rest in Meerut.
