Teachers pedal to press demands

Puducherry, May 9 (UNI) Unemployed graduate teachers today organsied a cycle rally from the employment exchange office to the education department, to press their demands.

They demanded filling up of the vaccant teachers posts on the basis of seniority in the employment exchange instead of competetive examinations.

Legislators R Viswanathan, K Lakshminarayanan and A Anantharaman supported the cause of the teachers and inaugurated the cycle rally.
