Reliance Communications signs MSA with West Bengal
Mumbai, May 9 (UNI) Reliance Communications (RCOM), the leading integrated telecom service provider, today signed a Master Service Agreement (MSA) with the Government of West Bengal to commence execution of the Common Service Centres (CSC) project under the guidelines of Department of Information Technology.
The project would benefit over 26 lakh households in West Bengal and is spearheaded by the Government Business Group (GBG) of Reliance Communications.
Reliance Communications (Enterprise Business) CEO Prakash Bajpai said, ''The signing of MoU with West Bengal Government is a leap forward in RCOM's endeavour to enter the egovernance space and bridge the digital divide by providing world class ICT services in rural India.'' Under this project, RCOM would set up 1860 Common Service Centres (CSC) across the state by providing Government to Government (G2G), Government to Business (G2B), Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) services on a Build Own and Operate (BOO) model.
