The CEO said the last date for submission of nomination papers was May 15 while dates of scrutiny and withdrawal of candidature would be May 16 and 18. The counting of votes would be held on June 5.

Ms Landhoni, wife of Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh, would contest the Khangabok seat at Thoubal constituency while Mr L Jatra would be fielded by the Manipur Peoples' Party.
